My good friend received an official-looking check for special delivery after photos that have been presented in a model search contest, supposedly as compensation for photos and future modeling tasks to be carried out by their children (no, not porn). In trying to cash this check was arrested on forgery charges after just wondering about the validity of the check at a bank, no! Avenue of approach seems available through the BBB, I can not seem to find any record of criminal proceedings or otherwise against the company. What resources can have? civil or criminal prosecution? Bank of false imprisonment? Celebrities for fraud, deliquency help of a minor?

Problem is often PPL take the stand and tell others that they were "monitoring the validity" when they were trying of cash or deposit a check they did not know where it came from. Many of these controls, or companies related to fraud and embezzlement schemes, if your friend in fact, just check the validity of one thing, but if you try to cash the check without knowing where the money comes from that is something that could be used against them. However, I I think that would give its customers the benefit of the doubt to walk with a check .. would be difficult to specify the actual counterfeiting charges against him / her but try to cash or deposit to be northerr could open a whole Pandora's box. I'm not saying that his friend tried to cash or deposit, but I doubt would try to bring charges of forgery of someone who had just inquired about a check unsolicited.
